Tuismitheoirí na Gaeltachta offer help and support to families who are raising their children with Irish in the Gaeltacht or who wish to do so. A Support Package is available for families, together with a wide range of events throughout the Gaeltacht. Comhlucht Forbartha na nDéise, through the Language Plan, collaborates with Tuismitheoirí na Gaeltachta on Gligíní, a group for parents with young children and Cuideachta, a program of events for families with companionship, fun and packages of useful resources for families in Gaeltacht of the Déise.
The Language Support Package is available free of charge to families who are raising children with Irish throughout the country, inside and outside the Gaeltacht.
